According to Insurance.com, people working at certain jobs are more likely to have a higher incidence of automobile accidents.
Depending on the severity of a crash, just one car accident can lead to an annual increase in insurance premiums as high as $500. So, it should come as little surprise that drivers with jobs associated with the most accidents also receive the most expensive auto insurance quotes.
Insurance.com bases its findings on an analysis of accident claims as a percentage of auto insurance quotes. Data is as of mid-February 2010.
